Location:

Sweet Annie serves community organizations and members located in Waimanalo town. Located on the East side of Oahu, Waimanalo is a small town (4.67 square miles) with a long history rooted in agriculture. Due to Waimanalo’s abundant source of water and fertile soil, the town has been home to everything from cattle ranches to sugar. Today, Waimanalo continues to provide fresh, local produce for grocery stores, hotels, and many local restaurants here on Oahu.

While Waimanalo houses many local farms, ironically, community members are unable to purchase this locally-grown produce in their own town. Access points are limited, and what is available to too highly priced to be available to the everyday person.
